If She So Pleases (The Name, The Woman, The Brand) 

Hi! My name is Mayo, a 27 year-old from England :) 
I started If She So Pleases in March of 2021. It started as a small hair brand selling my signature homemade hair butters, and has since expanded further. 

Let's see where this journey takes us :) 

My Hair Journey 
It all started back in back in 2009, due to a giant setback with my hair that lost me over 7 inches over just a couple of months, I decided to find out if there was any way that I could take care of my hair any better than I currently am.

During my hair journey, I experimented a lot with my own hair and used a variety of both natural and chemical products. During this time, I could never find anything that would seal my hair for as long as possible without completely blocking my pores and eventually drying out my strands. I quickly learned that my hair loved high-quality Unrefined Shea Butter. The only problem was that the Shea Butter alone was slightly too rough on my hair, and I needed some smoother ingredients. 

This was when the recipe for the Length Retention Hair Butter was born. Over the years, I have tried different combinations of butter and oils and I have finally found a natural formula that leaves natural hair shiny, soft, and moisturised for days. 

If She So Pleases is all about delivering nourishing, good-smelling and natural curly hair products within an elegant and luxurious package. 

I also focused on being environmentally friendly and that's why none of our products are tested on animals, all of our packaging is both reusable and recyclable.
